Do I need planning permission for my steel building ?
More often than not you will, you can contact your local planning office to confirm. If you need help with the application, we can provide that service.
Is a cold rolled steel building classed as temporary ?
Although one of the advantages of cold rolled buildings is the ability to dismantle with ease, it is classed as a permanent structure.
How long does it take to manufacture a steel building ?
We aim to deliver your building within 3-4 weeks from receipt of order. Delivery is to the front of the property only, unless there is sufficient turning area for the delivery truck to exit your property.
Are structural calculations provided with steel buildings ?
Structural calculations are available to support your Building Warrant application for a small fee – on a project by project basis. This service is FREE when using our Architectural services.
What colours are steel buildings available in ?
The colour options offered online cover 90-95% of the demand we experience, however if you require a specific colour not listed we can normally source. Please note that provision of colours not listed in our standard online palette will, in most cases, result in an increase in cost and lead times.
Can doors & windows be positioned anywhere on a steel building ?
We are able to meet your specific needs for door & window positions however to keep costs down we try and work with you to ensure the positions are located within our preferred standard steelwork positions.
Are cold rolled steel buildings easy to erect ?
The fact that all of our buildings are supplied as individual components, rather than factory fabricated complete rafters or columns, mean our materials are easier to handle and erect. We also provide a number of features to make the assembly safe, simple and effective.
